Databases and journals

Databases: In addition to the resources provided to us through The Norwegian Electronic Health Library (Pubmed, Embase etc.), we also have access to Web of Science and Cinahl with Full Text.

Journals: At LDUC we have access to a variety of journals in the fields of medical health and nursing. The library subscribes to several journal collections, including Elsevier´s Science Direct Freedom Collection and IDUNN, in addition to the journals we have access to via The Norwegian Electronic Health Library.

Interested in our research?

For information regarding the research being carried out at LDUC, visit our institutional repository, LDH Brage. It contains both student theses and journal articles published by our researchers, freely available in full text (where publisher agreements allow). Note that LDH Brage’s earliest content is from 2013, and does not contain a complete record of our publications.

Visit CRIStin, Current Research Information System In Norway, to see the complete list of research articles published by researchers associated with LDUC.

Make sure to also visit our page dedicated to the research at LDUC, here.

Instruction and courses

The library is an active part of the student’s instruction when it comes to information competency skills on all education levels. The library also regularly offers courses for both students and staff. These are most often courses in reference management, EndNote and literature searching, but we also hold drop-in sessions where students can ask questions regarding their individual assignments.

In addition to this, we also offer our assistance in guiding and conducting literature searches for staff at LDUC.
